Obituary

Richard J. Lunzer, 56, died unexpectedly on Wednesday morning, May 8, 2013 in Beverly Hospital. He was the loving husband of Judy (LeClair) Lunzer, with whom he shared 11 years of marriage.
Born in Hoboken, NJ on Feb. 13, 1957, he was the son of Joseph Lunzer of Mendon, NJ and the late Martha (Reily) Lunzer. He was raised and educated in Morris Plains, NJ and was a resident of the North Shore for most of his life, most recently of Hamilton.
For several years, he was employed by Agway. He was a champion horse rider who worked at several barns and at different shows and competitions throughout the area. He was known by his kindness and generous heart. He was the loving owner of his late English Bassett Hound, Wilson Rupert.
In addition to his wife and father, he is survived by his cherished stepdaughter, Sarah Chrisholm and her companion Anthony Triantafillou of Hamilton, his brother, Robert Lunzer and his wife Sarah of Dallas, TX, and his dear friends Cheryl and Steve Gray of Danvers.
As requested, his funeral services are private and there are no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sophia Gordon Cancer Clinic, 41 Mall Rd., Burlington, MA 01805. Arrangements are by C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directotrs, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square.
