David Bruce Araujo, age 62, of Swansea passed away May 7, 2013. Born in Boston, he was the son of Elvira D. Bamford and the late Clifton Bobby Jones. He was a Veteran for the United States Navy, a member of the Republican Club, VFW, and an avid Military History Buff.
Father of Laurie Ann DaSilva of Warren, RI, Melanie Ann Araujo of Fall River, David Araujo, Jr. (wife Nicole) of Clermont FL, Rebecca Padula (husband Jeff) of Northbridge, MA, Brother of Scott Bamford of Swansea MA, Grandfather of Nickolas, Shaileigh, Noah, Carlos, Kenny, Haeli, Justin, Jordan, Avery, Emerson, Jacob, Dylan, Great grandfather of Carlos and Kamdyn.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St., Fall River, MA on SATURDAY 10:00 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael’s Church at 11:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick’s Cemetery following cremation.
