Mrs. Florence C. Lombardi, age 91 of Bedford died Saturday in the Carlton-Willard Nursing Home of Bedford. She was the beloved wife of the late Leo C. Lombardi.
Mrs. Lombardi was born in Revere, the daughter of the late Vincent and Raffaela (Rizzo) Visconti.
Mrs. Lombardi will be remembered as a fashionable woman, always wearing the latest style. She was voted "Best Dressed" in High School. Florence was always one you can depend on to be a good listener, willing to help in any capacity she could. Nothing was more important to her than her family. She worked tirelessly attending to the needs of her children.
She is survived by a daughter: Debra Wolf and her husband Glenn of Billerica. Mother of the late Dennis C. Lombardi, Gregory J. Lombardi and Elleen M. Lombardi. Sister of the late Angela Marie Demaso. Survived by several nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, great grand nieces and great grand nephews.
Friends may call on Thursday from 4 through 8 p.m. at the Dello Russo Family Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford. Her funeral will begin at the funeral home on Friday at 8:00 AM and a funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford, at 9:00 am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
