LAWRENCE K. “LARRY” WENTZELL, SR., 85, passed away on May 4, 2013.
He was a retired employee of Booker Price Co., and a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church.
Survivors include his beloved wife of 65 years, LaVerne (Mattingly) Wentzell; his children, Nancy Walker (Paul), Larry Wentzell, Jr., and Polly Clark (Brad); daughter-in-law Kathy Gardner; grandchildren, Troy Wentzell, Buffy Gregg (David), Robin Bowling (Bryant), Lori Muncy (Eric), and Megan Clark; great grandchildren, Katie Bowling, Erin Walker, Alex Bowling, Jordan Gregg, and Emily Muncy; and his sister, Jean Harper.
His funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Peter the Apostle, 5431 Johnsontown Road with burial in St. Michael Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 – 8 p.m. Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway.
