Grace McGoff, 85, of New Bedford died Monday August 9, 2004 at Sacred Heart Home.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late James E. and Mary E. (Loughlin) McGoff, she lived in New Bedford for for most her life.
She was a communicant of St. Lawrence Church. She also enjoyed attending Mass at Our Lady's Chapel.
Miss McGoff was formerly employed by the New Bedford City Clerk's Office for many years until her retirement in 1983.
She was a graduate of Fairhaven High School.
Survivors include two nephews, Edward Sylvia of Martha's Vineyard and Leo F. McGoff, Jr. of Brentwood, California; and three nieces, Patricia Nerbonne of New Bedford, Sheila Sylvia of West Barnstable, and Carol Jo Lawson of Pontiac, Michigan.
She was the sister of the late Leo F. McGoff, Harold E. McGoff, Mary A. Lawson, Charlotte McGoff, and Julia C. Sylvia, and aunt of the late Barbara Dlouhy, Louise McGoff, and Edith Perry.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New BedfordFriday August 13, 2004 at 8 AM.Funeral Mass at St. Lawrence Church at 9 AM.Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours will be on Thursday August 12, 2004 from 6-9 PM. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
