Mary Frances (Hegarty) Harvey passed away peacefully at her home on Friday May 3, 2013, surrounded by her family. Mary was the wife of the late Russell D. Harvey Jr. and is survived by her 2 children, Shari Duane and her husband George of Braintree and Anthony Harvey and his wife Leslie of Jay, ME. She also leaves her granddaughter, Marisa Duane of Braintree, her sister Lea Desmond of Weymouth, many nieces and nephews and her loving companion Twinkie. Mary is predeceased by her brother John Chella.
Mary was born and raised in Weymouth, lived in Hanover for 40 years until she and her husband retired and moved back to Weymouth. Mary volunteered for the Weymouth Senior Center and was a member of the Red Hat Society Rosa Capellas.
Visiting will be at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Saturday, May 11 from 11 AM to 1 PM immediately followed by a Memorial Service at the Funeral Home at 1 P.M.
