Frieda (Souza) Rebello, 88, of Dartmouth died April 28, 2013 at St. Luke's Hospital.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Antonio and Maria R. (Souza) Souza, she resided in Fairhaven before moving to Dartmouth.
Mrs. Rebello worked for many years as a receptionist for Dr. Leonard Pacheco.
Survivors include two children, Ronald R. Rebello and his wife Shirley of Dartmouth, and Linda Gleicher and her husband Joel of Clearwater, FL; her companion of over 25 years, Albino Souza of Dartmouth; a sister, Gladys Vanasse of New Bedford; a nephew, Robert B. Vanasse; 4 grandchildren, Kevin Rebello, Laura Jenkins, Mark Gleicher, and Lisa Smith; and six great-grandchildren, Eric, Sean, Julia, Alexis, Reed and Lily.
Her private Memorial Mass was celebrated on Monday, May 6, 2013, in Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. Burial followed in St. John's Cemetery.
