David E. LeBlanc,94, of Steere Road, Harmony, died Sunday, May 5, 2013 at Golden Crest Nursing Center. He was the husband of the late Yvonne S. (Desrosiers) LeBlanc for 71 years until her death last year.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Solomon and Albina (Dufresne) LeBlanc. He had lived in Harmony since 1960.
He is survived by his children Catherine Bruno of North Providence, David E. LeBlanc, Jr. of Security, CO, his grandchildren: Donna Weston, Marcia Smith, Mark Sacco and Tammy and Jennifer LeBlanc, four great granddaughters and two brothers, Arthur LeBlanc of Norwich, CT and Rodger LeBlanc of Ocean View, DE. He was the brother of the late Alida Lanni and Jeanette Gorril.
His funeral will be held Wednesday at 11am from the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville.
Burial will be in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Visitation Wednesday 9-11am. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Home and Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904.
