Elizette "Ellie" (Pascoal) Quadros, 77, of New Bedford died May 5, 2013 at home after a long, courageous battle with ovarian cancer.
She was the wife of Edmund Quadros.
Born in Newark, New Jersey, the daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Lima) Pascoal, she lived in New Bedford since 1955.
Mrs. Quadros was a communicant of St. Mary's Church in South Dartmouth.
She was formerly employed as a clerical worker for Commonwealth Electric Company until her retirement. Prior to that, she was a clerk in the garment industry and for the City of New Bedford.
Her family would like to thank the Southcoast Health System Visiting Nurse Association for the excellent care that Ellie received.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Sandra Quadros Bowles of Worcester; a sister, Delorita Farano of Iselin, N.J.; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
She was the sister of the late Raymond Pascoal.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford Wednesday, May 8th at 9 AM. Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Church at 10 AM. Burial will follow in Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday, May 7th from 4-8 PM.
