Obituary

HENDERSON, JAMES L., 73, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2013 at his residence.

Born in Lebanon, KY, he was a Owner Operator of H&H Auto and J-Town Towing Co along with other Business's, Jim was a baseball umpire for 42 years, he also coached basketball, football, baseball and softball. One of his joy's was coaching his beloved KY Fillies team to many wins and championships; he was also an Army Veteran during the Viet Nam Era and a Baptist by faith.

Preceded in death by his parents, Ward and Theresa Henderson; and his son, Doug Henderson.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Betty Dobbs Henderson; sons, Kevin Henderson (Kimberly), Keith Henderson (Debbie), and Rob Henderson (Chelsea); a sister, Patricia Ann Hornback (Richard); and eight grandchildren.

His Funeral Service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 8, 2013 at Owen Funeral Home-Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Rd. Burial will be in Grove Hill Cemetery, Shelbyville, KY. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2-8 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
