Obituary

Beulah Mae Golden Lott, 89, of Tifton died Sunday, May 5, 2013, at Agape Health and Rehab in Moultrie. Funeral services will be held at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 7, 2013, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Corey Shiver and Rev. Larry Cone will officiate with burial to follow in Tift Memorial Gardens. Anthony Smith, Kevin Coppock, Andy Collins, Benjamin Collins, Caleb Cobb and Ethan Coppock will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 6, 2013, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.

Mrs. Lott was born on May 12, 1923 in Wilcox County and was the daughter of Will Golden and Mary Blankenship Golden, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Grady Vereen Lott, two sisters and one brother. She was a homemaker and a member of New Bethel Baptist Church in Tifton. She loved flowers and working in her yard. She also enjoyed fishing, as did her mother. She enjoyed attending church and listening to gospel music.

Mrs. Lott is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Wanda Lott of Norman Park and Danny and Gwen Lott of Winterville; four daughters and one son-in-law, Bonnie Smith of Omega, Christine and Roger Kirkland of Moultrie, Joann Collins of Hartsfield and Joyce Lott of Colorado; 12 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
