Obituary

RICCHIUTI, Venturo Francis (known to his friends as Ric or Rudy). May 3, 2013. Ric lived in Jamaica Plain and was formerly of Brookline and Orleans. He is survived by his son, Peter, grandsons, Matthew and William, daughter-in-law Laurie of New Orleans and sisters Mary and Lillian (Dolly) of Boston. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II and participated in the Invasion of Normandy. Ric worked as a sales representative for The Automobile Legal Association (ALA) for nearly 30 years. He was a terrific guy. Funeral from the Gormley Funeral Home at 2055 Centre Street in West Roxbury on Monday, May 6th at 9 am. followed by a Mass at 10 am at St. Theresa's Church. Visitation at Gormley Funeral Home from 9 to 9:30am. Relatives and friends invited. Interment MA National Cemetery in Bourne at 2:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National World War II Museum, 945 Magazine Street, New Orleans, 70130.
