Albert R. Kenefick age 91 of Canton passed away May 4th at the Hellenic Nursing Home in Canton. Born in Boston, he was a lifelong resident of Canton. He graduated from Canton High School and was a Marine Corp Veteran of WW II. He was a self employed Electrolux Vacuum Cleaner Salesman for many years before retiring. He had his Private Pilot’s license and enjoyed flying from the old Canton Airport and Wiggin’s Airport in Norwood. He was an avid gardener and sports enthusiast. Beloved husband of Lena. H. (Giammarco). Father of Albert R. Kenefick, Jr. and his wife I-Shing of CA, David A. Kenefick and his partner Michael Toppan of N.H., Mary Jane Stanlaske of E. Walpole and John Kenefick and his wife Heesong of CA. Brother of Joyce Buckley of Canton and the late Francis Kenefick. Grandfather of Vikki Cunningham of E. Walpole, Robert Stanlaske of PA and Dylan Kenefick of CA. Also survived by 5 great grandchildren. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Tuesday 4-8 pm. Funeral mass at St. John the Evangelist Church Canton Wednesday morning at 10:30. Burial Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.
