Ronald J. Eyssi Sr. age 69 of Salem, NH, died Friday at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House, Haverhill, MA. He was born in Lawrence, MA, where he grew up and attended schools. He was a resident of Salem for the past 40 years.
Ron was a maintenance facilities supervisor for Sunbridge in Methuen, MA.He also worked for United Uniform in Lawrence, MA. He was a member of St. Joseph Church in Salem and St. Anthony’s Church in Lawrence. He was a member of the Pulpit Rock Lodge in Pelham, NH, the Masons, and the Scottish Rite Bodies. He coached little league baseball and Salem Rams football. He enjoyed bowling, softball, sports, TV, and especially his grandchildren.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to their neighbors and friends for all their support during Ron’s illness., They would also like to thank the VNA, Elliot Hospital, and Merrimack Valley Hospice for their support and kindness.
He was the son of the late Assad & Jennie Eyssi. He was also predeceased by his brother Robert Eyssi.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years: Claire (Russo) Eyssi of Salem

A funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, May 8th at 10 AM at St. Joseph Church, Salem, NH. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem. Calling hours will be Tuesday, May 7th from 4-8 PM at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St, Salem, NH.
