SALEM, NH – Mary J. (Currier) Eldred, 88 of Salem, NH passed away peacefully on Monday April 29, 2013 at her home in Salem, NH.
Born and educated in Lawrence, MA, she was the daughter of Fredrick and Mary (Broadhurst) Currier and was graduated of St. Mary’s High School. She worked as a technician for 30 years at Western Electric in North Andover, MA. Mary enjoyed reading, was an avid Red Sox fan, but most important was spending time with her family.
She leaves her husband of 66 years, Paul J. Eldred of Salem, NH and is survived by her children, Paul J. Eldred, Jr. and his wife Judi of Wichita, KS and Robert J. Eldred and his wife Patti of Methuen, MA.
Grandchildren Brian Eldred and his wife Christine of Plaistow, NH, Lindsay Eldred and her fiancé Matthew Croteau of Methuen, MA.
Two great-grandchildren Casey and Zachary Eldred.
Mary also leaves a special niece and caregiver Cheryl Contarino of Lawrence also several other nieces and nephews and extended family members.
