HAVERHILL – Geraldine G. (DiMauro) Fortuna, 74 of Haverhill, MA passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday April 23, 2013 at Merrimack Valley Hospital.
Born and educated in Lawrence, MA, she was the daughter of Frank and Angelina (Fusco) DiMauro and was a graduate of Lawrence High School. Geraldine earned her teaching certificate from Lowell Teachers and her Masters Degree from Salem State College and was a teacher for many years at Sacred Heart Grammar School in Lawrence, MA.
Predeceased by her first husband, Paul Crochetiere, who passed away in 1986, she is survived by her husband of 25 years, Joseph J. Fortuna of Haverhill, MA. One son, Neal Crochetiere of Lawrence, MA. A sister, Frances Sirvio of Tampa, FL and a grandson Ian Crochetiere.
Several nieces and nephews.
