Mr. Richard P. Ford, 61, of Tewksbury, Massachusetts passed away on Sunday, April 28th, 2013 at his home.
He was born on November 13th, 1951 in Lawrence, Massachusetts, son of the late Francis X. and Eileen V. (Tierney) Ford. Richard was educated in the local schools of Lawrence and was a graduate of Lawrence High School.
He worked for the Methuen International Mills, the Andover Police Department, the Andover Library, the Andover Water Department and Highway Department. Richard enjoyed playing Bingo and cards with his significant other. He also loved to spend time camping in Weare, New Hampshire.
He is survived by his significant other of 31 years and her extended family: Jo-Ellen Carr of Lowell, MA.

His funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 3rd, 2013 at 12:00 noon in Saint Michaels Church in North Andover, MA. Burial will be private and take place at a later date.
