Inese M. (Fornaciari) Almeida, 93, of Dartmouth died May 1, 2013 peacefully at her daughter's home.
She was the wife of the late Charles Almeida.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Mariano and Catherine (Pizzuti) Fornaciari, she lived in New Bedford before moving to Dartmouth in 1966.
Mrs. Almeida was a communicant of St. Julie Billiart Church since the founding of the parish.
She was formerly employed by Cerel's Jewelry Store and Peerless Department Store.
Mrs. Almeida was a charter member of the Sons of Italy in New Bedford. She enjoyed gourmet cooking and outings with family and friends.
Survivors include her daughter, Catherine Michaud and her husband Robert of Dartmouth; a grandson, Charles L. Michaud, and his wife Vicki, of Westport; a great-granddaughter, Emma Catherine-Elizabeth Michaud; and a nephew, Mark Fornaciari and his companion Barbara Brittain.
She was the sister of the late Emma Fornaciari, Giulio Fornaciari
and William Fornaciari.
Funeral from the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford Friday, May 3rd at 9 AM. Funeral Mass at St. Julie Billiart Church at 10 AM. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
