Peter L. Forand, 58, of Manchester, formerly of Athol, MA died April 29, 2013.
He was born in Athol on March 22, 1955, the son of Lawrence Forand and Jane (Calcari) Forand Morrow. He was educated in the Athol school system.
Peter enjoyed fishing, hunting, woodworking and spending time outdoors. Above all else he cherished the time he spent with his family.
He leaves his life companion Cathy Prue of Manchester; his two daughters, Kimberly Marie Depietro and husband Christopher of Milford, MA, Amy Hope Stone and husband Troy E. Sr. of Allenstown, NH; three grandchildren, Ashley Marie Depietro, Troy E. Stone Jr, and Tasia Hope Stone; his siblings, Larry Forand of PA, Jimmy Forand of Athol, Marie Porter of Athol, Terry Robichaud of Athol, Timmy Forand of WA; his step-father, Charlie Morrow of Warwick, MA; many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
The funeral service was held on Friday, May 3, 2013 in the chapel at Fiske-Murphy & Mack Funeral Home, 110 New Athol Road, Orange, MA. Burial followed in Gethsemane Cemetery, Athol.
