NEW BEDFORD – Jeanne M. (Simmons) Andrews-Davis, 47, of New Bedford died after a long illness, Saturday, August 7, 2004 at St. Luke's Hospital. She was the widow of Randall Davis.
Born in Dover, Delaware daughter of Madeline (Costa) Simmons of Westport and Antone Simmons of New Bedford she had resided in New Bedford for the past ten years. She had attended Westport High School.
In addition to her parents she is survived by 1 daughter: Heidi C. (Andrews) Pierce of Westport; 1 brother: David P. Simmons of Houston, TX; 2 granddaughters: Ashley N. Pierce and Brooke M. Pierce; close companion: David Whalen; 2 uncles: Albert Costa and Roger Simmons; and 2 nieces: Chelsea Simmons and Makenzie Simmons.
Calling hours to which relatives and friends are invited will be from 6 – 8 P.M. on Monday, August 16, 2004 with a Memorial Service at 7:00 P.M. at the POTTER FUNERAL HOME, 81 Reed Rd., Westport.
