Helen Frances Williams, 76, of Ocilla, Georgia, died Monday, April 29, 2013, at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton.
Funeral services will be held 4 PM, Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at Pine Hill Baptist Church in Ocilla with the Rev. Huey Nichols and the Rev. Wayne Martin officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Valley Grove Cemetery in Irwin County. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 Tuesday evening at the funeral home in Ocilla.
Mrs. Williams was born October 27, 1936 in Irwin County to the late Henry Alford and Gladys Roberts Tucker. She lived in the community all of her life and was a former dietician for the Irwin County Board of Education. Mrs. Williams was a member of Pine Hill Baptist Church.
She is survived by four sons: Ronnie (Manya) McMillan of Enigma, James (Lea) McMillan of Ocilla, J. W. (Darlene) McMillan of Leander, Texas and Herman (Cathy) McMillan of Rochelle; thirteen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren; two sisters: Edith (Herbert) Courson of Blachshear and Shirley Tucker of Enigma. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: John Austin Williams.
