Beverly A. Limpus, 76

Dateline: Norton, MA

Beverly A. (Fraatz) Limpus, age 76, of Norton passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2013 at the Lifecare Center of Attleboro with her loving daughter Judy at her side. She was the beloved wife of the late John A. Limpus who died on May 21, 2001.
Born in East Providence, Rhode Island on April 17, 1937 she was a daughter of the late Rudolph G. and Beatrice M. (Rogers) Fraatz. She had lived in Norton for most of her life, where she was educated in Norton schools.
She along with her late husband John were the owners of a Stainless Steel Manufacturing Co. Family was the focal point of Beverly’s life. She looked forward to Sunday family dinners and enjoyed dining out with friends, especially at Wright’s Farm in North Smithfield, Rhode Island.
Mrs. Limpus was an active supporter of the respiratory therapy group at the Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro. Her hobbies included playing cards, jigsaw puzzles and a former joy for crocheting. At the time of her death, Beverly was happily anticipating the birth of her fourth great grandchild.
She is survived by her devoted children, Ralph A. Limpus of Fairhaven, Beverly A. Hussein of Pawtucket, RI, Helen G. McClanathan of Chambersburg, PA and Judith A. Limpus-Heath of North Attleboro. She was the dear sister of the late David Fraatz, Rudolph Fraatz and Karl Fraatz, and is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Cheralyn Tucker, John DePina, Stephanie Limpus, Jennifer Limpus, Eric DePina and Megan Limpus, her great grandchildren, Shaun, Ryan and Keira, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be held on Friday, May 10th from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at the Norton Memorial Funeral Home, 19 Clapp St. (Off Route 140, Taunton Ave.) Norton.
A Memorial Service will be held at the conclusion of visitation at 7:00 P.M. in the funeral home. Burial will take place privately in the Norton Common Cemetery in Norton,
In lieu of flowers, Beverly’s family has requested that donation in her memory be made to the American Diabetes Association, Massachusetts Office, 330 Congress St., 5th Floor, Boston, MA 02110 or to the Respiratory Care Department at Sturdy Memorial Hospital, 211 Park St., Attleboro, MA 02703.
