Obituary

George W. Hoisington, 74, of Goffstown passed Friday, April 26, 2013 after a brief illness at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. He was born September 6, 1938 in Manchester, and was a son of the late Carlton and Goldie May (Wilson) Hoisington. He was raised and educated in Derry, and had been a resident of Goffstown since 1976. Mr. Hoisington served his country as a member of the U.S. Air Force, and was employed as a machinist at International Paper Box Machine Co. of Nashua. He was an avid motorcyclist, and enjoyed woodworking. He will forever be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Members of the family include his wife of 44 years, Connie (Walton) Hoisington of Goffstown, his daughter, Kelli Wanner of Goffstown, and grandson Justin Wanner, also of Goffstown, a sister, Gladys Richardson of Derry, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Hoisington was predeceased by two sisters, Myrtie Browne and Ruth Morneau, and by a brother, Carlton Hoisington.

After cremation, a graveside service was held Tuesday April 30, 2013 at 11:00am at Forest Hill Cemetery, East Derry. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the American Heart Association, Heart Gift Processing Center, P. O. Box 349, Syracuse, NY 13220. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry is assisting the family.
