In Berkley, April 26, 2013 Edward L. Labrecque, age 72 passed away in his home while surrounded by his loving family. Edward leaves his wife Mary J. (Rose) Labrecque of Berkley. He was born in Taunton, the son of the late Edward J. & Betina (Shumway) Labrecque. Edward was a graduate of Coyle High School and he attended Cape Cod Community College. He served his country in the U. S. Navy. Edward was an EMT-I for Alert Ambulance. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and enjoyed woodworking, carpentry, fishing, boating and above all cherished his time with family and especially his grandchildren. Edward leaves his loving children Edward J. Labrecque and his wife Debby of East Taunton and Michele M. (Labrecque) Clark & her husband Stuart of Berkley. His grandchildren Jacob and Ciera Clark and Deanna, Amanda and Julia Lebrecque. Edward also leaves his siblings Barbara Kiritscenko of CA, Rita Kaminski of FL and Donald Labrecque of Taunton. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington Street in Taunton Wednesday, May 1st at 9:45 AM. A Mass will be held at Holy Family Church in East Taunton at 11 AM. Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 4-7 PM. Interment Mayflower Hill Cemetery in Taunton.
