F. Elaine Raymond, 86, of George Allan Road, Chepachet, died Friday, April 26, 2013 at Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. She was the widow of Joseph W. Raymond. They had been married for 60 years.
Born in Southbridge, MA, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Aurelia (Gaucher) Carlson. She lived in Chepachet since 1969.
She is survived by her son, Joseph W. Raymond Jr. and his wife, Pamela of North Providence, her daughter, Patricia Raymond of Glocester,and her grandchildren, Rebecca Raymond of Atlanta, Georgia and Anthony Raymond of North Providence. She was the sister of the late Albert, Edward and Shirley Carlson, Irene Haubner, Beulah Garbecki and Dorothy Harrell. She is also survived by her “adopted” daughters, Valerie Turco, Sue Kaemmerlen and Doris Duarte.
Funeral Service Tuesday at 10am Central Congregational Church, 296 Angell Street, Providence. Visitation Monday 4-7pm in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Rt 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Burial in RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Please omit flowers.
