Manchester– Sheila A. Bevilacqua, 65, died April 25, 2013 at the Elliot Hospital following a brief illness.
She was born in Chelsea MA., on September 20, 1947 the daughter of William and Helen (Doll) Richards.
She was a high school graduate and attended college for a short time.
She and her husband were dedicated foster parents to over 500 children for more than 35 years.
Sheila was a caring woman who loved children and dogs.
Family members include her husband of over 46 years, Ralph A. Bevilacqua Sr. of Manchester, one son; Ralph A. Bevilacqua Jr. and his wife Nicole of Florida, one daughter; Jodi M. Bevilacqua of Manchester, nine adopted children; Shannon, Elizabeth, Christina, Kristen, Michelle, Joshua, Jeremy, Britney and Aaron. She also leaves seven grandchildren; Timothy, Robert John, Rachel, Kurtis, Mary Ellen, Madison, and Gage.
Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 5 to 8 PM at J. N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St.. A prayer service will take place at 7:30 PM during calling hours.
