Obituary

Mario A. Roccuzzo, 82 of Nashua, NH, died Wednesday after a long illness in the Franklin Regional Hospital, Franklin, NH.

Born in Boston, he lived in Nashua the last several years and formerly of Medford. He was the son of the late Sebastiana (Trovetto) and Gioacchino Roccuzzo. Mario worked at MIT as a custodian for 5 years and retired in 1995. He previously was a Baker for over 30 years at Stop & Shop Bakery in North Station. Mario served during Korean War in the U.S. Army from 1948 to 1950.

Beloved husband of the late Sophie (Elia) Roccuzzo. Devoted father of Donna Robinson and James A. Roccuzzo both of NH, and Paula Carbone of Stoneham, Also survived by 7 loving grandchildren and 3 loving great grandchildren. Brother of Sara DeAngelis of Hyde Park, and the late Constance Lennon and Joseph Roccuzzo.

Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Monday at 10 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 4-8. Services will conclude with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent in Mario’s name to the Alzheimer's Association, 480 Pleasant St., Watertown, MA 02472.
