Craig A. Reynolds, 64, of Manchester, died April 25, 2013 after a lengthy illness.
He was born in Hartland, Maine on October 18, 1948, the son of Frances and Achsah (Farrell) Reynolds. Craig graduated from Piscataquis Community High School, Guilford, ME, earned a BA in mathematics from Gorham State College (now Southern Maine University), and a BS in computer science from Southern New Hampshire University. Craig is a veteran of the US Army. After the Army, he taught Math at Pinkerton Academy in Derry NH. Following that, he worked for many years at the NH Insurance Group (AIG) in Manchester. He concluded his career by working as a contract computer programmer for many companies in the Greater Boston area.
Craig was very athletic and loved the outdoors. He was a marathon runner and a youth soccer coach. He enjoyed hiking and playing tennis. Craig will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father and grandfather, and a devoted family man.
Family members include his loving wife of 39 years, Priscille M. (Gendron) Reynolds of Manchester; two sons, Colin A. Reynolds and his wife Laura Lee of Bethlehem, PA, and William A. Reynolds and his wife Kate of Melrose, MA; one granddaughter, Adelaide J. Reynolds, of Melrose, MA; five brothers, Gilbert Reynolds and his wife Janice of MA, Kerry Reynolds of VT, Paul Reynolds of ME, Keith Reynolds and his wife Gayle of VA, and Clark Reynolds and his wife Karla of ID; a sister, Sharon Pratt of ME; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by both of his parents. The family would also like to thank the compassionate staff at Hanover Hill Health Care Center for their extraordinary care of Craig these past few years.
Burial took place on Monday, April 29, 2013 at NH State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen.
