Raymond J. Lamontagne, 87, of Westport died April 22, 2013 at St. Luke's Hospital.
He was the husband of the late Lucy (Quirk) Lamontagne.
Born in Westport, the son of the late Amedee and Mary (Connell) Lamontagne, he lived in Westport most of his life.
Mr. Lamontagne was a communicant of St. Julie Billiart Church.
He owned and operated Ray Lamontagne Painting and General Contracting, Inc. for 35 years and was a painter over 50 years.
Mr. Lamontagne was a proud graduate of Holy Family Grammar School and Holy Family High School.
Survivors include a son, Kevin J. Lamontagne of South Dartmouth; 2 daughters, Linda Sumner of New Bedford and Sharron Shields and her husband Gary of Westport; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
He was the father of the late Brian Lamontagne.
His private Funeral Mass was celebrated Thursday, April 25th in St. Julie Billiart Church. Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery.
