James M. Reilly, 74, of Londonderry, NH, died Wednesday April 24, 2013 in Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH. He was born in Waltham, MA on May 28, 1938, a son of the late James and Marie (MacDonald) Reilly, Sr. He had been a resident of Londonderry for the past 40 years, formerly living in Lawrence, MA. Mr. Reilly was a graduate of St. Mary High School in Waltham, MA and had attended Boston College. He was a US Marine veteran. Mr. Reilly was a communicant of Holy Cross Parish in E. Derry. He delighted in gardening, cooking, reading and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Judith A. (Liss) Reilly of Londonderry; loving father of, Joanne Cantone and her husband William of Londonderry; loving grandfather of, Tyler, Brianna, Brendan, and Mikayla; two sisters, Maureen Casperowitz and her husband Joe of Framingham, MA, Barbara Mackiewicz and her husband Vic of Marlborough, MA; two brothers, Philip Reilly and his wife Pina of Florida, and David Reilly and his wife Laurel of Newton, MA. He was predeceased by his daughter, Christine K. Reilly in 1985.

Calling hours were held on Sunday, April 28th from 2 - 5pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. A Liturgy of Christian Burial was celebrated on Monday at 10:00am in Holy Cross Church, Hampstead Rd., Derry, NH. The burial followed in Holy Cross Cemetery, Gilcreast Rd., Londonderry. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
