Melba Weeks
Augusta, GA – Mrs. Melba M. Weeks, 71, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2013.
Mrs. Weeks was a native of Augusta, GA. As a child she moved to Miami, FL in 1954 but returned to Augusta in 1988. She was a tremendous caretaker for all animals, big or small. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
Family members include daughter: Kathryn S. Jones; son: Bill Jones; granddaughter: Natasha D. Rogers; brothers: Marvin Weeks and wife Nancy, Wayne Weeks and wife Anita. She is preceded in death by brother and sister in law: Carlton Weeks, Jr. and his wife Jackie; sisters: Dorothy Flournoy, Helen Reeves; and parents: Carlton and Tessie Weeks.
A memorial service will be held April 27, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Charles DeLoach officiating.
