WORCESTER
Lawrence J. McFadden, 51, died Thursday, Aug. 5th in the Blair House of Worcester.
He leaves a son, Matthew McFadden and a daughter, Erin McFadden both of Worcester; a brother, John A. McFadden of Worcester; 3 sisters, Eleanor M. McFadden of Worcester, Eileen N. McKenna of Shrewsbury and Margaret E. Graham of N. Brookfield and nieces and nephews. A brother, Michael A. McFadden died in 1992 and a sister, Kathleen A. Pultorak died in 1999.
He was born in Worcester son of John J. and Eleanor (McFarland) McFadden and lived here all his life. Mr. McFadden graduated from Doherty High School and Worcester State College and attended UMass-Boston. He was an Army veteran of Vietnam War. He worked in the social services department at UMass-Boston. Po was an avid Red Sox fan.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 9 Hammond St. is directing arrangements.
