Haley King, 24, of Fitzgerald, died Saturday, April 20, 2013, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held 3 PM, Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at Arbor Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Lloyd Stembridge officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery, Fitzgerald. The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until the funeral hour at the church on Wednesday.
Haley was born November 3, 1988, in Tifton to Parnell and Robbi King of Fitzgerald. She was a 2007 graduate of Fitzgerald High School. She attended ABAC, Wiregrass Georgia Technical College and Moultrie Technical College. Haley was very talented with crafts such as handmade greeting cards and scrap booking. She had her own website where she sold her handmade hair bows and she enjoyed creating specialty arts to decorate the home. She was a member of Arbor Baptist Church.
She is survived by her parents: Parnell and Robbi King of Fitzgerald, formerly of Waycross; a brother: Adam King of Fitzgerald and Tiny, her 14 year old Chihuahua. Several aunts and uncles survive including: Linda King Thornton of Waycross, Margie & David Walker of Camden County, Debra & C.H. Simpson and Reba & Dale Woodard, all of Waycross. She is also survived by a goddaughter: Jaci Jowers whom she loved dearly and a host of cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Parnell King, Sr. & Evangeline Clubb King and Ella V. Carter Eunice, all of Waycross, and Earl Eunice of Mississippi.
