Obituary



Adelino Abreu, a resident of Stoughton for over 40 years, died peacefully Sunday April 21, 2013 after a brief illness. He was 66 years old.

Born in Madeira Island, Portugal in 1946 he moved to Stoughton in 1970. Adelino worked as a machinist for the F.C. Philips Company in Stoughton for many years and was an active parishioner Immaculate Conception Church in Stoughton. He was a member of the Portuguese Club, the Holy Ghost Society-Azores, and Our Lady of Fatima all in Stoughton.

Husband of Bernadette A. Abreu (Aguiar). Father of Nelson Abreu and his wife Shelly of Marstons Mills, and Justin Abreu and his wife Emily of Mansfield. Grandfather of Julia, Elise, David, and Cian Abreu. He is also survived by three sisters, three brothers, and many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours in the Pushard Family Funeral Home 210 Sherman St. Canton Wednesday from 4-8 PM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton St. Stoughton Thursday April 25, 2013 at 10:30 AM. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Stoughton.
