Roger R. Fournier, 52, of Sayles Avenue, Pascoag, died Friday in the Philip Hulitar Hospice Intake Center surrounded by his family and friends.
Born in Woonsocket, a son of the late Roch and Cora (Denomme) Fournier.
He had lived in Pascoag previously living in Chepachet. He was the President of R & C Painting of Pascoag.
Roger was a devoted owner/operator of his own painting business, loving father and passionate companion. Being a truly caring friend he would do anything he could for whomever he could. Roger was an outdoorsman that enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting, biking and especially manning the grill.
He is survived by his beloved girlfriend, Karen Tysen of Uxbridge, MA, his son, Chad J. Fournier and his wife Kaitlyn of Slatersville, his sisters, Elaine Fournier of Cranston, Susan Lavigne of North Smithfield, Ann L’Heureux of Redlands, CA, Claire Fournier of Orlando, FL and Karen Fournier of North Smithfield.
His funeral Service will be held Wednesday at 7:30pm in the Anderson-Winfield Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Visitation Wednesday 5-8pm.
