Seth R. Hobson, 18, of Worcester, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 16th. He is survived by his mother, Linda (Hobson) Cook and her husband Rick of Worcester; his father, John Eisner of Worcester; his 3 sisters, Shayne, Michelle and Sarah Cook, all of Worcester; his brother, Daniel Cook of Worcester and his grandparents, Patricia Moran, Linda’s adopted mother of Marlboro, Verna (Shaheen) Hobson of Holliston and Richard and Claire (Parker) Cook of Rochester, NH. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
Seth was born in Framingham and raised in Ashland until moving to Worcester at the age of 8. He was currently employed by Liberty Tax, Co. Seth was proud and truly enjoyed the home schooling he received from his mother and they both cherished and felt fortunate to have that time together. He was an active member of the Grace Baptist Church in Hudson and was always looking to help others, especially through the Second Saturday Program at the church. He enjoyed being outdoors and was an avid hunter. His loving, kind and giving spirit will be remembered by all who knew him.
A funeral Service and celebration of Seth’s life will be held on Monday, April 22nd at 10:00 a.m. in Grace Baptist Church, 353 River Road, Hudson. Burial services will be held in Hope Cemetery, Worcester, following a short reception and time of fellowship at the church. Family and friends may attend calling hours on Sunday, April 21st from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, Inc. 50 Central Street, Hudson, MA 01749.
