Marie A. (Pereira) Vieira, 86, of New Bedford died Friday July 30, 2004 at the New Bedford Jewish Convalescent Home after a long illness. She was the wife of the late Seraphim "Bob" Vieira.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Joseph A. and Marie J. (Mendes) Pereira, she lived here all of her life.
She was a member of the Christian Fellowship Center.
Mrs. Vieira and her late husband owned and operated Vieira the Florist on Rockdale Avenue for many years.
Survivors include a brother, Sylvester "Pat" Pereira and his wife Mary of Hopedale; two nephews, Mark A. Pereira of New Bedford and James Pereira of Florida; and three nieces, Linda Mitchell of South Dartmouth, Carol Luiz and Kathy Dehner, both of New Bedford.
She was the sister of the late Antonio A. Pereira and sister-in-law of the late Audrey Rose Pereira.
Her Funeral Service was private. Burial was in Pine Grove Cemetery.
