Obituary

FRANK, Harold “Hal” of Teaneck, NJ, passed away suddenly on April 17, 2013, just days after his 88th birthday. He was born and raised in NY and moved to Teaneck in 1954. He served in the Army in Germany during WWII and was a long-time member of the American Legion Post 128 and the Moose Lodge of Teaneck. He was a parishioner of Holy Trinity RC Church in Hackensack.
Early in his career, he worked as a solicitor for the steamship companies of Bull Lines and Concordia Lines. Later on, he was a real estate agent. Before retiring, he had worked for many years at Design House, a division of Myron Manufacturing.
Hal was outgoing and fun-loving. He always enjoyed bowling, fishing and clamming. More recently, he looked forward to weekly card games and going to Atlantic City.
He was predeceased by his loving wife of 59 years, Lillian, in 2007 and four brothers. Beloved father of Diane Mancini of Brick and her late husband Philip; Chris and her life partner Jim Kilmurray of Teaneck; Stephen and his wife Marianne of Carteret; and Jeffrey of Teaneck. Cherished grandfather of Keith Mancini and his wife Michelle of Paramus; Kelly Jodzio and her husband Scott of Maywood; and Emma, Sophia and Stella Frank of Carteret; and great-grandfather of Nicole, Samantha and Jason Mancini and Jake and Jessie Jodzio.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit on Sunday, April 21, from 2-6 pm at Volk Leber Funeral Home, 789 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, NJ. Funeral mass will be held on Monday, April 22nd at 10:00 am at Holy Trinity RC Church, 34 Maple Avenue, Hackensack, NJ. Interment at George Washington Memorial Park, 234 Paramus Road, Paramus, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Hal’s memory to Holy Trinity RC Church would be appreciated by the family.
