Ruth E. (Carle) Schieding, 58, of Londonderry, NH died Wednesday August 4, 2004 in the Catholic Medical Center, Manchester, NH. Mrs. Schieding was born in Cambridge, MA, on July 15, 1946. She had resided in Londonderry for the past 28 years, formerly living in Raymond, NH. Following graduation from the Lawrence Memorial Hospital Nursing School in 1968, she was employed as a Registered Nurse for 19 years for Bon Secour Hospital in Methuen, MA, and worked two years for a clinic in Londonderry. She was a member of the Island Pond Baptist Church, Hampstead, NH. She enjoyed crafts, painting and drawing.
She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey L. Schieding of Londonderry, one stepson, Aaron Schieding, one stepdaughter, Bethany Schieding, both of Londonderry, four step grandchildren, Loretta Carle Brady, Kristine Carle and Brandon Rivers all of Manchester, Patricia Ziska of Tampa Bay, FL, her father, Rev. Robert Ford of Sanford, ME, her mother, Eleanor Greenleaf of Derry, one sister, Priscilla Petrofsky of P.E.I., Canada and Sturbridge, MA, one brother, Robert Ford, Jr. of Enfield, NH, two step sisters, Cathy Lefebvre of Greensboro, NC, Martha Condon of Manchester, one step brother, Sam Greenleaf of Virginia, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Monday August 9th at 10:00am in Island Pond Baptist Church, 26 N. Salem Rd., Hampstead. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery, E. Derry. Friends may call on Sunday from 2 - 4pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Memorial Giving Program, Gail Singer Memorial Building, 360 State Route 101, Suite 501, Bedford, NH 03110-5032 (Earmark for breast cancer research), or to the Island Pond Baptist Church, 26 N.
