Mary J. (Christophel) Frank, 92, of Carmel, died April 6, 2013 at IU Hospital North after an extended illness.
She was born October 15, 1920 in Kansas City, MO to John and Wynona (Staley) Christophel.
She and her husband Roy Frank owned and operated Frank's Marathon Station; Frank's Laundromat and Frank's White House Restaurant.
She was a member of Daleville Christian Church and Daleville Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She served on the Union Township School Board for many years.
Survivors include her children, Dr. Stephen (Patty) Frank of Anderson; Pamela (Michael) Koontz of Carmel; John R. (Kay) Frank of Noblesville and Cindy Burris of Indianapolis; sister Margaret E. Dobiyanski of Montgomery, Texas; thirteen grandchildren and thirty great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Roy Frank whom she married February 7, 1940 in Royerton, IN, died in 1985; her sister Elnora C. Fessler and her brother George J. Christophel.
Service will be on Thursday, April 11 at 2:30 P.M. at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service with Rev. Gary McManus of Daleville Christian Church officiating. Visitation one hour prior to the service. Memorial Rites will be presented by Daleville Chapter of O.E.S. Burial will be in Gardens of Memory in Muncie.
Memorial contributions may be given to Alzheimer's Association.
