Elmo R. Mazzoni, Sr. age 81 of Canton, formerly of Hyde Park passed away April 17th at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. Born in E. Bridgewater, he was raised and educated in Italy. He has lived in Canton for the last 3 years and previously lived in Hyde Park for 60 years. Elmo was a self-employed Mason for many years before retiring. Beloved husband of Florence A. (Santilli). Father of Robert E. & his wife June of Canton, Linda M. DiCenzo & her husband Richard of Hyde Park, Elmo R. Jr. & his wife Yolanda of Foxboro, Lorraine A. O’Connor & her husband Joseph of Canton & Christina E. Powers & her husband Brendan of Canton. Brother of Violetta Gabelloni of Italy and the late Elsa Barucci & Elda Baldassari. Also survived by 13 grandchildren. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Sunday 4-8 pm. Funeral mass at St. Gerard Majella Church Canton Monday morning at 10.
