Roden, William age 77 of Paramus passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2013. Bill was born in Englewood and resided in West New York and New Milford, NJ. He was the son of the late George and Anna (Polinick) He was an Army Veteran serving in Korea from 1957 to 1958. He later worked for Conrail as a Breakman for many years. When not working, Bill enjoyed his Fishing, John Wayne movies, the Pony Track and gambling. Surviving are his sisters Helen O’Brien and her husband John, Mary Maikisch and her husband Stephen, as well as his many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers David and George and his sister Anna May Howard. Family and friends are invited to visit Sunday 2-6PM at the Volk Leber Funeral Home, 268 Kinderkamack Rd., Oradell. A funeral service will commence on Monday at 10:30AM at the funeral home. Final disposition will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name to a charity of your choosing are appreciated by the family.
