Carlos Rego, age 68 of Fall River passed away April 16, 2013. Born in Açores, Portugal, son of the late Joseph and Luciana Silva(Correiro) DaSilva. He was a construction and bridge worker at Pawtucket Steel Co. and a lover of animals.
Carlos was the father of Richard Rego (wife Paula) of Brazil, Teddy Rego (wife Misty) of FL, Cindy Rego (boyfriend Wayne Deal) of Seekonk, Nuno Rego (wife Kristin) of Portugal. He was the brother of Fatima Mello of Fall River, John Rego of Providence, RI, Urania Rego of Portugal, and Enibel Rego of Canada. Carlos also leaves 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
His funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1521 N. Main St., Fall River Friday at 9 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Patrick’s Church, Providence at 10 A.M. Interment in Gates of Heaven Cemetery, East Providence. Calling hours Friday from 8-9A.M.
