Naples, FL - Myrtle O. Howard, 97, passed away at the home of her son, David Carpenter, in Georgia, on April 13.
Myrtle is the widow of Calvin S. Carpenter, who passed away in 1963. In 1971, she married Robert Howard who is also deceased.
Myrtle was born January 7, 1916 in Holbrook, Massachusetts, a daughter of the late Oswald C. and Mabel (Ida) Boss.
Myrtle had been a resident of Naples, Florida since 1989.
She is survived by her son David C. Carpenter, and daughter-in-law Derinda (Williams) Carpenter of Naples, Florida, as well as many nieces and nephews in Massachusetts.
Her funeral service will be held Thursday April 18 at 12 PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman. Interment will follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery, West Bridgewater. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service from 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM.
