Obituary

MIDDLETON: Sharon J. (Cain) Greeley Harney, 58, died Sunday, April 14, 2013 in her home following an extended illness. She was the beloved wife of Stephen G. Harney.
Born in San Bernadino, California on March 1, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Harry L. and Anna (Dorfman) Cain. A graduate of Chelsea High School class of 1972, she had resided in Naples, Florida before moving to Middleton in 2009.
Sharon treasured the time she spent with her daughters, Rachael and Sarah. Much of that shared time was at the beach or along the shoreline where Sharon loved to be. She also enjoyed exploring small towns throughout New England with her husband Steve and her loyal dog “Ginger.” During her time in Florida, Sharon was the activity director for the “Addison Reserve” home section of Glen Eagle Country Club, where she organized community events and dinners. Sharon also was employed at Wall Systems of Naples, Florida as a project coordinator and most recently worked for Vetsource in North Reading as an administrative assistant. Over the years, she was a very successful in-home party rep for Princess House and Every Home products.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two loving daughters, Rachael Greeley Gullion and Sarah Greeley; two brothers, Matthew Cain and his wife, Lois and Samuel Cain and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday in the Grondin Funeral Home, 376 Cabot St., Beverly from 4 – 8:30 p.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. Funeral services will be privately held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the All Care Hospice, 210 Market St., Lynn, MA 01901.
