Obituary

FRAMINGHAM: David M. Lynch, age 52, of Framingham, a former resident of both Ashland and Centerville, died on Thursday morning, April 11, 2013, at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center West in Boston after a long illness. He was the devoted husband of Margaret P. (Regan) Lynch for thirty years.

Born and raised in Framingham, he was a son of Robert E. and Katherine A. “Kitty” Lynch. He was a 1979 graduate of Joseph P. Keefe Regional Technical High School,
and through most of his career was employed in various aspects of landscaping.

David and Margaret, his high school sweetheart, married in 1982 and after several years settled in Ashland where they raised their daughter Amy. Just over ten years ago they moved to Centerville on Cape Cod, where David had accepted a position as a maintenance supervisor for a property management company in Yarmouth. The Lynches returned to Framingham in December to be closer to family.

A lifelong car enthusiast, David had purchased, lovingly cared for and resold many hot rods and muscle cars. He had started detailing vehicles for the pleasure of it while in his teens and never lost interest. He preferred Chevrolets, and enjoyed sharing information and stories about his autos while displaying them at area car shows. David shamelessly doted on his dogs and spent many happy hours relaxing on the beaches of Cape Cod. Essentially a family man, one of his greatest joys was when he and Margaret welcomed their first grandchild, Addison Regan Wendrow, in January of this year.

In addition to Margaret, he is survived by his parents; daughter Amy and her husband Demian Wendrow; granddaughter Addison; and his sister, KatherineA. Lynch, all of Framingham; his brother, R. Scott Lynch of Milford; many aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends.

His funeral will be from the John Everett & Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street at Natick Common, Natick, on Wednesday, Apr. 17th at 9:00a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Patrick’s Church, 44 East Central Street, Natick, at 10:00a.m.

Visiting hours will be on Tuesday 4 – 7p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in David’s memory may be made to the Addison Regan Wendrow Scholarship Fund, c/o Melissa Murphy, Century Bank, 75 Central St., Wellesley, MA 02482. .
