CHICOPEE – Stella M. (Kogut) Jablonski, 82, of the Fairview section of Chicopee, was Called Safely Home on Wednesday, April 10, 2013. She was born in Ludlow on July 31, 1930, a beloved daughter of the late Albert and Helen (Walak) Kogut. She was raised and schooled in Ludlow and moved to the Fairview section of Chicopee around 1956. She was employed for many years in the office at the Springfield Newspapers. She was a communicant of Saint Anne Church in Chicopee. She was predeceased by her beloved husband and best friend, Thomas M. Jablonski, who was Called Home on December 15, 2011. They were married on August 29, 1953 at Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Springfield and were blessed with over 58 years of happiness together. Besides her parents and husband, she was also predeceased by her loving son, Robert Jablonski, who was Called Home on June 21, 2005; her dear brother, Edward Kogut; and her dear sister, Genevieve Piechota. She leaves her devoted son, Michael M. Jablonski of South Hadley; her loving daughter-in-law, Debra Jablonski of Winsted, CT; her cherished granddaughters, Allison Couture and Kathleen Jablonski; her cherished great-grandsons, Thomas and Kaleb; and her many dear nephews and nieces. A private funeral will be held on Tuesday morning, April 16, 2013, at the St. Pierre – Phaneuf Fairview Chapels, (413-533-3307), 506 Britton Street, Chicopee, MA 01020.
