Claudia (DeCarvalho) Welcher, age 90, of Hanson, formerly of Dorchester, died on Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at her home.
She was the beloved wife of the late Cordie Welcher; loving aunt of Louis Mendes, Jr. of Hanson & his late wife Barbara Gomes Mendes and Rita Gomes & her husband James of Summerfield, FL, formerly of Hanson. Claudia is also survived by many loving great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visiting hours at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett Street, (Route 14), Pembroke, on Tuesday, April 16, 2013, from 4:00-7:00 PM.
Funeral services at the Shepherd Funeral Home, Pembroke, on Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at 9:00 AM, followed by her funeral Mass at Saint Joseph the Worker Church, 1 Maquan Street, Hanson, at 10:00 AM.
Interment will follow at the Fern Hill Cemetery, High Street, Hanson.
