Fisher, Marjorie L. passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at the age of 90 years young. Born on December 18, 1922 in Roslindale, Massachusetts, Marjorie was a life-time resident of Boston. The daughter of Frederick and Lenore Fisher, Marjorie was one of seven children. She was a sister to Gertrude, Vincent, Dorothy, Helen, Mildred and Bernadette. Dedicated to helping others, Marjorie was a nurse for over 50 years. She was a devout Roman Catholic and a faithful parishioner of Saint John’s Parish in West Roxbury, Massachusetts. Marjorie, is survived by her nephews; John Cosby of Florida, Kevin Cosby of Montana and her nieces; Pat Meehan of Florida, Mildred Ann Barnhart of South Carolina, Carol Wells of California and Cheryl Curran of Massachusetts.
There will be a Mass of Christian burial celebrated on Saturday, April 27th at 10:00AM in St. John Chrysostom Church, 4750 Washington St. West Roxbury. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Interment with the Rite of Christian burial will take place in Saint Joseph’s Cemetery.
Remembrances may be made in her name to St. John Chrysostom parish.
