Obituary

Laconia-----Marjorie Jean Lydon, 90, of 47 Barbara Blvd., died at the Laconia Rehabilitation Center, on Sunday, April 7, 2013.

Mrs. Lydon was born March 29, 1923 in Shawnee, Oklahoma, the daughter of Dixon and Estella (Barbanell) Noe.

Mrs. Lydon resided in Londonderry, N.H. and was briefly employed by Moore’s Business Firm before moving to Laconia forty-two years ago.
Marjorie was a founding member of St. Jude’s Church in Londonderry and was a member of the church’s Women’s Guild. She served as President of the UNH Extension Cooperative Group for which she was given the NH Volunteer Recognition Award.


She loved to read and garden. Her flowers were her pride and joy along with her family and friends.

Survivors include two sons, William Lydon III of Laconia, Stephen Lydon and his wife Diane Lydon of Chicago, and a daughter Nora Leduc and her husband Bruce LeDuc of Dunbarton. She had five grandchildren, Jennifer Cusato and her husband Jeffrey Cusato, Jonathan LeDuc, Matthew Lydon, Chelsea Lydon and Sarah Lydon and one great grandchild Aislinn Cusato. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lydon was predeceased by her husband, William Lydon II.

There will be no calling hours. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, April 19, 2013 at 10AM at Saint Joseph’s Cathedral, 145 Lowell Street, Manchester. Burial will follow at St Joseph’s Cemetery in Bedford.
